Excellent food. GF items are marked although some of the meat isn’t but would be gluten free such as bacon, chorizo, ham. Likewise, the Peach Valley Skillet is marked GF but has homemade sausage gravy, so be sure and tell the waitress you are needing it GF and they will remove the gravy.
They have GF toast but do mention cross contamination is possible due to share fryer with chicken for potatoes. I got fruit instead of the bread.
I haven’t noticed much of a problem with my condition with cross contamination so I don’t have to be as strict.
All in all. Nice cafe, knowledgeable staff on GF.
My husband who is not GF says those not needing GF you have to get their apple fritters shaken in a bag of cinnamon sugar at the table. Amazing!
Great breakfast, GF toast.
Cute place. Had steak and eggs, grits and toast.
Servers pretty knowledgeable.
Two Celiacs did not get sick and enjoyed breakfast of omelets and gluten free toast. We were told that the toast is toasted separately on its own plate and it’s looks confirmed that- toasted on one side only. Home fries are not gluten free- one of us had gotten sick from this on a previous visit.
Great breakfast. Gluten free items are clearly marked on the menu. Sometimes it’s the little things and I sure enjoyed having gluten-free toast with my eggs while on vacation.
Attention my fellow celiacs: if you want a delicious breakfast that is both awesome and safe, this place is both(Yay!) Staff was friendly, knowledgable and very helpful. When I informed our server that I have celiac, she went back to the kitchen to verify the items that I could eat, and the manager came out and was very helpful when helping me choose my food. The manager also informed me, that she would prepare my meal herself, and reassured me it would be prepared in a separate pan, and she would change her gloves accordingly. I ordered a western omlette with a side of bacon, and a side of fruit, which was delicious. **PLEASE NOTE: not all the items listed as GF on the menu, are safe for celiacs. For example, i was going to order the peach skillet, however was advised against that, as the home fries share the same fryer as the fried chicken, so the homefries were a no-go (which was fine by me, as my omlette was delicious!) Also, the GF toast shares the same toaster as all the other toast. Glad we stopped here!
