Peacock Café is a very Georgetown place, just off Wisconsin Ave and M St on Prospect St: chique and good, but not as pricey as you might fear. The menu is standard American fare with a light Italian touch. The sandwiches are named after old movie stars. There's no gf menu, but all the sandwiches can come on gf bread. I had the curry lamb burger which was very nice. And the gf bun was great! Wohoo, finally a place with a good bun instead of the cardboard ones you find in so many other places. The fries were too thin. Oddly, the desert menu does indicate what's gf and what's not. The nut-encrusted cheesecake was amazing.

Got the gluten free French toast which was very good and service was excellent! Online it says the French toast is only available Saturday and Sunday but I was able to order it midday on a Monday so it might be available more often than is stated. All of their sandwiches can also be made GF, so it seems like there is some variety. However, other items on the menu weren’t labeled as GF/DF/V etc so you would need to ask your server
Cute brunch spot with dedicated GF items on menu (today they had GF French toast) as well as GF bread option for all sandwiches. Solid food, great service.

Excellent choice for dinning - many entrees to chose from.
Food was great and they cater to all allergies and can accommodate any needs. Not sure about the fried stuff they have like French fries. But all dishes they can accommodate to your needs and are very careful and make sure no cross contamination. Love that they are organic conscious.
Gave me chips from a shared fryer and I felt sick after eating a meal that I was guaranteed gluten free.

Peacock cafe had multiple GF options that were clearly labeled, good/prompt service, and the food was delicious!
They use the same fryer for everything, and the fries were marked as gluten free on the menu, which can be an issue if you struggle with cross contamination. The menu marks items that are gluten free. Nice and knowledgeable staff.
Great experience here. Be sure to inquire about your food prep and they will take care of it from there. Hand a sandwich with a gluten free bun, along with a modified hummus app and it was great!
We used to come here often until they brought out my meal with real bread... if I didn’t go often I wouldn’t have known. I always make it extremely clear that I am celiac. Huge disappointment.

Delicious and flavorful lunch - I had a turkey burger with their homemade guacamole & lettuce on a gluten-free bun and perfectly done green beans (a sub for their fries). My niece ordered a gluten-free pasta dish that she said was excellent. We both were given a warm gluten-free “from scratch” dinner roll before lunch - nice touch! Great coffee here too! Excellent service, really nice restaurant. I’d definitely come back.
Excellent menu choices for celiac. Very good prices, great location and pleasant staff. One of the best places in Georgetown area.
Very good every one is so friendly great food but the dessert wasn't gluten free but they brought us a gluten free one!!!
Excellent food!!! Very very delicious. My dad got a salad with steak and I got gluten free pasta. Pricey but very good
