I order cupcakes and eat other pastries from pearls all the time and have never had any issue. I am Celiac. Literally everything they make is mouth-watering and delicious. I am a huge huge fan.
I’ve gotten the gluten free cupcakes here several times and they’re pretty good. The icing is a bit sweeter than I like, but the cakes are pretty good. They usually have a few gluten free flavours which is nice!

My daughter bought me 2 cupcakes and while they taste good and look pretty they are dry and dry.

Picked up cake looked to see The gluten free tag wasn’t there the manager and staff said they would make another one in 2 hours and they persanoly delivered it to my house in the bag I found extra cake pops,cookies ,5cupcakes! Amazing

Some of the best cupcakes I could find! They had a variety of options including cupcakes, cookies, cakepops, brownies, and cheese crackers! The frosting is a tad bit too sweet, but I just scraped half of it off. Also, the flavor options are great! The flavors of the day were plain Jane, carrot, and samosa.
The cookies and cupcakes were amazing, and they even had gf cake pops. They have a separate kitchen for gf baking, so it’s very safe.
Philly native, but my daughter and I find ourselves in Richmond for tournaments a few times a year. So happy to find Pearl's. Awesome cupcakes, creative flavors. Friendly staff. We look forward to visiting next month.
They have the best tasting gluten free treats, I have ever had. Cookies, cupcakes and brownies are awesome. Staff is super helpful and friendly too.

Tons of gluten-free options. Cupcakes, cookies, cake pops, macaroons, brownies, special order cakes, the list goes on. The gluten free cupcakes are very moist and very flavorful, and they rotate flavors daily! Try the pumpkin roll when it's in season - you will not regret it!
In fact, I love this place so much my wife and I had them make our wedding cake - and yes, they made it gluten-free, and it was excellent. I was sad when it was all gone...
I am gluten intolerant, and my daughter is nut-allergic. We have NEVER had a problem here, and the cupcakes are delicious! Pearl's offers a variety of safe options, not just the standard chocolate or vanilla. We recently treated our family to cupcakes for my husband's birthday. I had raspberry cream while my daughter with the nut allergy enjoyed some extravagant chocolate confection. Yummy! You will not feel deprived here.
The gluten free carrot cake cupcake was amazing! They have gluten free breakfast options as well, the day I was there they had sweet potato biscuits.
Best cake in Richmond all around! Unique flavors. Also really good gluten free cookies, brownies, etc. Try the gluten free cheddar cheese straws!
What else is there to say other than absolutely freaking fantastic! Hands down the best gluten free cupcake Shoppe in Richmond Virginia. So grateful that there's something like this here to treat yo self!
