My husband and I ate here for a special night out in November 2022. The menu isn't labeled, but our server was mostly knowledgable about what is or could be made gluten free. A few times he had to check with kitchen. For starters, we had the octopus (without the breadcrumbs) and burrata. If you order the burrata, tell your server to keep the bread separate from the cheese on another plate. For dinner, I had the sunfed shrimp (cooked in their wood fire oven, no cross contamination) with a side of Brussels sprouts and squash. My husband and I also split a penne alla vodka with gluten free pasta and no breadcrumbs. For desert we had panna cotta. Everything was delicious and I did not get sick.

We ate at Peasant back in 2012 when we were first dating and before I was diagnosed with celiac. I have wonderful memories of the delicious breads and pastas and I was nervous I wouldn't have as good of a meal now that I am gluten free. I was wrong; you can have an amazing meal here that is safely gluten free.
