Pegasus currently has 4 marked GF options on their menu, including a burger with an Impossible Burger patty. My husband was able to order one of their regular burger options, subbing in a GF bun and a baked potato instead of fries (they use a shared fryer). Their side house salad doesn’t have croutons.
When we placed an order for takeout, we told the waitress that my husband has celiac and needed a clean grill and no cross contamination. She made a note of it and assured us she would let the kitchen know. When she repeated back our order, she also repeated our notes about celiac and no CC. When we arrived to pick up our food (they have a drive up window like a fast food place), the waitress again asked if we were the meal marked GF with no CC. We both appreciate how seriously they seemed to take it.
My husband really enjoyed his food. The GF bun was the same size as a large burger bun, wasn’t overly cakey and held up/didn’t crumble and didn’t get soggy or gooey from being in a takeout container. I have another family member who has a dairy allergy and has never gotten sick from this restaurant (she normally also orders one of their GF items).
