Pei Wei

I typically order from Pei Wei at Garland Rd and Buckner. I have had good experience there. I don’t order from the Knox location very often. Today I ordered Mongolian Chicken and found a noodle in my food. If you have Celiac I would be very careful and stress an allergy. Pei Wei has told me before there very careful in handling food allergy orders. This is my first time encountering this. It makes me less confident about the practices in their kitchen.

I got glutened here :( Was excited to try their GF steak and sweet/spicy chicken. Chose those items on the delivery menu (they do say GF) and specified it in the comments too. They apparently did not follow instructions for the delivery order. Was very sick after

Pei Wei spicy gluten free is awesome!

the gluten free shrimp tastes like shrimp it is amazing

Was apprehensive after the reviews but needed lunch and didn’t have any other options near by gate. Was told the Mongolian sauce was gluten free. I ordered the Mongolian steak and fried rice. I asked them to change gloves and wash the wok. I’m have a severe symptomatic gluten allergy and thankfully didn’t have a reaction.

Delicious GF fried rice, and many other options available. To-go containers all marked with a GF sticker. Great option when you need a quick, GF option.
