Thought I was safe ordering from the gluten free menu items. Don’t trust it. I was feeling horrible within 2 hours or less - with my typical symptoms if I consume gluten. Completely ruined my afternoon after trying so hard for the last 8 months to not eat any gluten. Very disappointed.

they only have a few gluten-free options only two official gluten free sauces
They have a gluten free menu online. I studied it before we went. I had sweet and sour chicken with steamed rice. It was delicious. I didn't have a bad reaction with my food.
Yes
The last 3 times we've gone in, we have found noodles (not gf) in with the rice when my wife has ordered gf. She's very allergic. We won't give Pei Wei a 4th chance.
No
Amazing pan fried shrimp. yes Fried! kind of limited gf menu, but do have egg noodles!
Food and service quality has gone down drastically. Their only vegetarian GF option is sweet and sour vegetables. Even their tofu has a coating that has gluten in it. How hard is it to use regular tofu?
This review is base on their sweet and sour chicken on their gulten free menu. we order and the cook knew it was supposed to be gulten free as well they handled my son dish carefully . Yet it made my son sick. The chicken can be crispy or grill . He chose crispy they said they make it crispy in rice flour. so we though it would be okay. still not sure what made him sick in the ingredients.
I only trust the chicken salad rolls which are delicious. I have had the sweet and sour dish and have gotten sick. Not sure if it was the chicken or the rice.
I have eaten at this Pei Wei location many times and have had no reactions to their gluten free meals. I am highly sensitive to cross-contact. The menu is clearly marked and the manager was able to answer all of my questions.

We ordered take out today -I am extremely gluten intolerant. Took a while to get the food as this pei wei was extremely busy with take out (lunch time). When I ordered we emphasized gf - when our number was being cooked I heard the head cook say something like ‘no this isn’t gluten free’ so they recooked all three dishes we ordered. Came out great - no reaction at all. I’d trust going back to this pei Wei anytime.
— Separate gluten-free menu
Awful! I ordered the bourbon chicken with white rice that was marked as gluten-free on the menu. When she gave me my meal, I looked through the dome top that was on it and it looked like a different kind of chicken that was breaded. I said, “are you sure this is gluten-free?” She said “yes.” When I brought it back to the table and opened it, it was clearly breaded chicken, probably orange chicken. I took it back to the counter and opened it and said that I was sorry to bother her again, but this looks like it was breaded and I have a gluten allergy. She apologized, and I heard her talking with the cooks. They seemed really annoyed. I should’ve known that I probably just shouldn’t eat whatever I was given next. They gave me a new meal, I guess it was the bourbon chicken and I ate it. By the next morning, I could tell I had been glutened and have felt awful since. I should’ve known better! It’s a visible, tiny cooking area, so it’s clear that even if food is gluten free, it’s very likely cross contaminated.

Don't come here if cross contamination is an issue for you. They have a limited menu so only two things are considered gf but the kitchen size prevents them from cooking anything gf without cross contamination.

The server was very helpful when I was ordering. There were two items marked on the menu that were able to be made into gluten-free options. Then she said also the Pad Thai could as well. Items came out marked with a gluten-free sticker on them.
