I got the gluten free sweet and sour chicken and really enjoyed it. They have a handful of gluten free options to choose from, which is nice. It is clearly marked on their menu. I would definitely go back.
Menu was very limited only about 5 items to choose from. I ordered the Pei spicy chicken with white rice and it was amazing, veggies were fresh and it was a good size portion of food. I would definitely eat there again.
I was handed a tiny menu with very few options. I asked if they could substitute chicken for tofu and was told no. My only option left was a salad.
Great place for quick meal. Good value with GF options and size options. Just ask cashier for GF menu.
Ask for gluten-free menu when you arrive. Look it over in line and order at register. They will give you a table number to put on table, so they know where to deliver your food. Food was excellent. They have sauce subsitutions so your meal has all the taste it should. I was very pleased with such good tasting, large portions, and REASONABLY priced. Win-win.
My glasses are messed up and I could not see the menu icons. I told the woman at the counter that I needed a wheat free meal. So no gluten. She said to get the firecracker chicken. I ordered fire crackers chicken per her suggedtion gf. Told her again to be sure she knew I am allergic to wheat. It came out breaded. I know the other Pei Weis near my house in Texas do a gf version on fried shrimp with a gf coating.. maybe this is corn starch breading? I took single bite and set a timer. I'm a brave bitch today. If this has wheat in it I'll know within 30 min. I don't react to other forms of gluten..I'll update. UPDATE: I started feeling my belly swelling within 10 minutes. By 30 min I looked a few months pregnant and was starting to get itchy. I took my plate back to the counter and this time talked to the manager who apologized but only gave a partial refund. Poop on this Pei Wei. It's terrible. I hope they train their ppl better. I rated them on the receipt survey too.
