Penelope's Old Time Burgers

Ordered a gluten-free burger without any salad. THANKFULLY, they put salad on it because when I took it back they told me it wasn't on a GF bun!

Feel like that carelessness takes them off my list of places to eat!!

I was very unimpressed with the burgers here. They're not at all careful so if you have CD, miss it. The burgers may start out gf but there's no guarantee they stay that way. I got very sick after eating here and avoided the fries, which aren't gf. Even had that not happened, everyone at my table expressed that their burgers were dry and over cooked. No reason to go back. It wasn't good at all.

Love the selection of different proteins! Being celiac and having other food allergies including Beef it’s always great to find a burger place like this. Got the Turkey burger on gluten free bun and was so excited to see it had sesame seeds, haven’t had a diner style bun in years

Really good gf bun. High recommend getting the Baja burger!

A good burger with a specially wrapped GF bun. Fries are not GF, but it is a good place for a burger and Diet Coke. Haven’t had any reaction.

Delicious burgers. We are very sensitive to cross contamination and have never been sick here. They clean a space for your burger, lie down foil, change gloves, and notify staff to ensure that your food is safe. They have the BEST gf buns!

They use the same grill and friers for all food, but the waiter was very knowledgeable and told me that right away!

I ordered a burger with a gluten free bun and it was delicious! I didn’t get sick but they don’t have a dedicated grill or frier for their food. The waiter was knowledgeable about gluten and told me it was all shared spaces!

Just because this restaurant offers a gluten free bun option, it does not mean it is a safe place to eat. There is a high risk for cross contamination. The staff told me that the heat burns the gluten off the grill. It is not a Celiac or gluten free friendly restaurant.

The burgers are good and the Gluten Free Buns have a good flavor. The buns are wrapped so there is less chance of cross contamination.
