Great place to eat at. There was a bit of a wait but totally worth it. Menu tells the GF options and there is a separate area in the kitchen. The waitress was friendly and helpful. She made sure our orders were correct and double check. I felt heard and comfortable that the waitress knew about celiac

They may have read previous reviews - my husband has Celiac, and they prepped his pancakes separately, and used an electric griddle vs using the common cooktop. We were at the counter, so could see what they were doing.
Yes
Great little diner in Penn Yan but you need to avoid if you are celiac. Food was prepped and cooked in the same area with the same tools as all other food and GF bread toasted in a common toaster.
No
GF pancakes are cooked on same griddle as other foods. Omelet mix has hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce and cream added, but they will fix a plain one--these are cooked separately.
Yes
This tiny friendly little diner is super quaint. They have gluten friendly pancakes and waffles, they also offer a slew of lunch salads and are very accommodating. Only 4 stars bc the mix they use a box mix that calls for milk but I have dairy allergies so they used water. But everything was good! even with all that, the one downfall is that they use the same cooktop for everything so Celiacs beware!
