Brought both my mom and my husbands mom here for different occasions and have loved every experience. It has really good pizza and perfectly cooked pasta. The menu is clearly marked and in fact, they star the things that DONT come gluten free because there are just too many that are safe. I haven’t had any reaction to cross contamination. My husband (not Celiac) is obsessed with their risotto. Definitely recommend.
Ordered a GF pizza for carryout. One thing I like right away: They only charge $1 more for the GF crust. A lot of places charge AT LEAST $2 extra. The pizza smelled incredible in my car all the way home, and it didn't disappoint when I finally sat down to eat it. It was a thin and crispy crust that held up very well while eating, even though loaded with toppings (the one I had came with sauce, cheese, mushrooms, arugula, truffle oil). I'm not sure if they make their own crust, get a commercial one from a distributor, or from a local bakery like Unrefined or Localoven. I will be sure to ask next time. I can say that it did not have that distinct GF aftertaste of some of the commercial crusts. I really enjoyed it. They have GF pasta available. I will definitely go back to try some. The restaurant had a nice ambiance to it. The two staff who assisted me on the carry out order were very friendly, too. I'm looking forward to dining inside next time.
Very good GF pasta and pizza. I’ve always found the staff to be knowledgeable and helpful when ordering. The salmon with veggies and mashed potatoes are always solid. They usually have a risotto special that’s GF.
I really like this place. Their gluten-free menu is fairly extensive. Their pizzas are flavorful but sparse on toppings. They still taste great though. The focaccia bread is not really focaccia bread it is just a seasoned pizza crust but it will do in a pinch. The staff is very nice and management is very knowledgeable. Each time I visit Dallas I make sure to stop by here.
Maybe Sun night 8 pm is not the best time to go, with that being said ..... Waitress & Chef didn't have a clue about GF needs. In speaking with the "Chef" he lacked knowledge about the ingredients being GF that are used on the pizza. Finally settled on chicken, spinach & mozzarella, which was not my first choice. Got the GF foccaccia bread which was the GF pizza crust with spices. Nothing special about this place, won't be back only came as I was in neighborhood.
