I am skiddish of going to a “grill” or “cafe” because of cross-contamination; however, I have been twice and both times I have walked out pleasantly pleased.

Not being familiar with the diner, but going on a recommendation, I ordered a coffee and GF Lady Fingers. I found out they cut their own fries and have a dedicated fryer.

Today, I went and ordered scrambled eggs, hash browns, and bacon. They informed me they have many customers who order GF and they have GF bread and are attempting to make more GF desserts.

Update: I took my husband the next day for breakfast, and I found out they have GF bread and a designated toaster. Additionally, Helen, the owner, said she has GF biscuits individually wrapped. If you call 30 before your visit, she will take it out and prepare. Even though there is not a separate GF menu or GF item designation, she can make 94% of her menu GF.

10/23 Something has changed since my last post 😢. I have eaten breakfast there twice and even though the time before yesterday (which I thought was a fluke due to my previous post) was cross-contamination, yesterday was just flat out contaminated food! I have not been this sick for quite sometime. I even informed the waitress (who was new) how sick I get and was told they take allergies seriously. A red flag should have gone up when I commented about a separate toaster and she told me I would be ok even if they didn’t have a separate one, because they had not yet used their normal one yet today! 🤦‍♀ PLEASE, PLEASE use a lot of caution!
