Review of Penny Lick Ice Cream

This Hastings ice cream shop specializes in delicious, old-fashioned allergy-friendly treats. We had four of their flavors at a catered event where they brought a small cart with a selection of six ice creams, all GF (one was also vegan). Not a cone in sight - all GF with no cross-contamination! They are not dedicated GF - their store does serve some options with gluten - but they are very aware of celiac and they wash their scoops between every serving. They do have GF cones available and they guarantee that unopened ice cream containers are free from cross-contamination. It was a pleasure enjoying their delicious ice cream with no fear of illness or impact! Bravo!! We tried the mint chip, honeycomb, vanilla bean and vegan chocolate- all were excellent, the first two were outstanding. Highly recommended!!
