They have a wonderful GF menu, as the owner has Celiac. They are very careful and have tons of options. :) my favorite meal is the steak sandwich, with GF bread and fruit or corn mix (daytime) or a baked potato (at night).

Updated: I used to think this was the best in town for gluten-free, but on my last visit, I learned they now dip all their corn tortillas in a shared fryer with breaded items. I’m not even sure why the tortillas are being dipped in fryer oil to make a quesadilla? But it was still marked GF on the menu so I’m unsure of what I can trust to eat there.
Old review: The owner (I believe it is) has celiac and so everyone is very knowledgeable and nice about answering questions. The menu shows which items are or can be modified to be gluten free. I always get the spicy chicken quesadillas, chocolate lava cake (!!), and margarita especial. And chips and salsa of course!

GF but very little to chose from if you are strict GF. My mom (a symptomatic celiac) had very few choices. The owner, who is GF and DF by choice, came out to help give a few choices and explain the choices. They do have a paper that explains what is GF. We did end up staying to eat here. Mom had the 'chicken diablo' and I had the 'Rio steak bowl'. Both meals were tasty. Service was speedy. Update: My mom got severe stomach upset last night into the next morning. There must have been some cross contamination.

Had the gf club. The paper they had for gf was helpful. Waitress had no idea what gluten was. We educated her a little bit. Felt pretty safe. Waitress was sweet but did not bring back what I requested till we were done eating. They did sub out grapes for mixed fruit. That was nice.

Have dined here for years, always good food & friendly service. Very clean. Recently developed an allergy to wheat, the owner came & sat with me, gave me their gluten free menu. He understands the challenges of gluten & dairy free dining, so he tries to provide options for his diners. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Was on vacation visiting the museum, so was looking for something close. Pepper’s is just a few blocks away, so decided to try. So glad we did. First atmosphere was great. Eat in bar and there are humorous murals with peppers being the characters. They provided a gluten free menu but also the waitress was very helpful. Orders the chicken quesadilla for appetizer, which I would again have as a meal, it was so good. I had a club sandwich ( I know why not Mexican, but my stomach can only handle so much heat). They only charge 50 cents extra for slice of bread. Sandwich was not skimpy, brought home 1/2. Husband had smothered Indian fried bread(not gluten free). Said it was wonderful. Would highly recommend.

Printout avail explaining how to modify menu. Food delicious with good options. Wait staff knowledgeable and inquired about the severity of gluten intolerance so she could advise on menu choices and tell the kitchen.

Long wait for server only to learn they didn’t even have any GF items listed on their menu. Place is a dive also, outdated, old-style bar with separate dining room. Not a place I’d trust to give careful attention to GF preparation! We left without ordering anything. Roswell isn’t GF friendly ~ best to carry your own food passing through town.
I had a great and safe meal! Our server, Nicholas is also GF himself; and he took special care to double check that everything I got was safe for me. Super cute patio if you're still avoiding indoor dining like we are. And it was delicious! 5 stars, would eat here again.

Had a burger on GF bread, was extremely delicious and they also have GF fries that are obviously fried separately from the “regular” fries. Very friendly and attentive waiter.

I always forget to take a pic. The server was so knowledgeable that she advised I get a charcoal grilled burger and baked potato which was celiac friendly and awesome. They have angry orchard too.

They have a gluten free menu that tells you what’s gluten free and well as what is celiac friendly. Owner has been gluten free for years

We ate here passing through and absolutely will again the next time we are passing through! Our waitress was very accommodating and when we said we are gluten free, she suggested we get the kids fries with our meals because the adult fries have seasoning that’s not gluten free. They also offer gluten free bread. My husband and all of our kids are celiac and while it was made clear that there is a chance of cross contamination, my family didn’t have any issues. Very friendly staff, great food, overall a wonderful experience!
We loved this place I had ribeye sandwich on gluten free bread no fries salad instead , our server so friendly and helpful with so many choices and very busy place I definitely recommend

The owner came up to me asking how my gluten free burger tasted. He has been gluten free for several years so he understands the need to make sure it’s done right. With that being said the GF menu does say cross contamination would be possible for fried foods like fries. Overall it tasted great and I’ve had no issues. I ate the California Burger on GF bread with kids fries (the adult fries are seasoned and not GF)
This is a great restaurant! Staff members are knowledgeable about gluten free issues and they take extra precautions to prevent cross-contamination. We ate here twice while visiting Roswell. Be sure to save room for their delicious chocolate lava cake. I highly recommend this place!

My daughter was very excited to be able to order a sandwich! She really liked the gluten free bread

My husband and I came here on a vacation because it boasts of a gluten free menu. For the most part, the menu items that are gluten free are salads and soups and burgers without the bun. Fajitas are NOT gluten free. On the menu, it says that you can order enchiladas and ask for the sauce to be substituted for gluten free sauce. I was told that they didn’t keep any on hand, but if I had called earlier that morning, they could have made some. ... I put queso on it, but it just wasn’t good. At all. Currently feeling really awful, like I ate something contaminated. In addition to this, our waitress was either just really slow or super busy (we sat on the patio) because we waited forever for food and drinks . Won’t be back.
Owner is gluten intolerant and his mother and daughter have Celiacs. Wait staff was VERY knowledgeable about what eating safely with Celiacs requires. The owner happened to be there and stopped by our table to make sure everything was OK gluten-wise. Super lovely dude.
Food options are slightly limited but knowing you can eat safely and nutritiously on the road is what matters to me.

One of the best restaurant experiences we have had on our vacation in New Mexico so far. Friendly staff and gluten free menu explains out possible contamination dishes. I had the BBQ burger and my husband had the Turkey melt, both on gluten free bread they offer for only .50 cents a slice. We would send all our friends there, with or without dietary restrictions.
Tastes wonderful! Limited menu, no dedicated fryer.

Great experience! Plenty of choices and owners are gf themselves, so knowledgeable.
Owners (Adam and Neil) are gfree! No dedicated fryer, but TONS OF gfree options otherwise. Gfree bread available! Also, they can make their green sauce gfree as well.

Owner is gluten free and I a big help when ordering food.
Call ahead to let them know you are coming. The owner is very sympathetic to us GF folks and will prepare for your arrival.
