Server was not at all knowledgeable about gluten. Initially said potatoes are GF, but came back later (after I’d eaten some), to say the oil they use is shared. What a bummer.

Great experience here with delicious food. Although there is no dedicated fryer or gluten free menu, the chef and wait-staff were very knowledgeable, patient and made accommodations for the least amount of cross-contamination with gluten items. Pass on the chips as they are fried in a shared fryer. I ordered the Fiesta plate with corn tortillas and it was one of the best Mexican meals I’ve had in San Antonio. Check out this no frills, affordable and delicious spot!
