El mejor de Cartagena en cuanto a conocimiento, opciones en el menú y seguridad. Soy alérgica a la lactosa y al ajo, así que me ayudaron mucho con la preparación de los alimentos.

I had salmon and carrots. They prepared it really well although the carrots were not what I expected (shredded). The menu has the gluten free symbol but I didn’t see it next to anything.

The food is healthy and delicious! They have gluten-free soy sauce. The bottles for the soy sauce says in contain wheat, but they refill the bottles with gluten-free soy sauce. Very confusing, but the waitress used google translate to inform me.

The waiter understood Celiac disease and cross contamination. He reassured me that they only use gluten free soya sauce in the kitchen. All their sauce are gluten free for that matter. I had the Mix sushi for starters and they were delicious!! As main course I had a hot salmon bowl; it was good but a bit soggy for my taste. I'd go back there anytime given the chance.

This place was amazing! I was in Cartagena for 5 days and ate here 4 times. They were so knowledgeable about which items could be made gluten free and brought me gluten free soy sauce and teriyaki sauce. After the first time I went they remembered about the gluten free stuff every time I went back. The food was all delicious too!

Excelente restaurante, si bien no tienen una cocina separada, conocen del tema y se preocuparon de darnos porciones libres de gluten y seguras. Muy buena atención de Seidy y la comida deliciosa.

I had a wonderful Celiac-safe experience here!
I found this restaurant on the Find Me Gluten-free app and despite the low reviews, we decided to try it since they cook some of their food with gf soy sauce.
I showed my Gluten-free Restaurant Card to the hostess and she assured me that there were lots of options. She suggested that I let the server point them out first. The server was great and showed me everything I could have.
When my partner ordered something that was not gf, the person delivering the item to our table told me “You don’t eat this!” lol So the kitchen and all servers were made aware to keep me safe :)
We ordered quite a few items and had a wonderful time. The food was fantastic and fresh! I felt totally safe and had no problem at all.
I would definitely go again!

I was very excited to try this place after reading the reviews. First time eating there the waitress was knowledgeable and answered all my questions, and although the menu didn’t specify what was GF or not, she explained the dishes that were completely GF and safe for celiacs (a lot of gluten full dishes in the menu though). I ordered the menu of the day, fish consomé and ceviche, both delicious. Since I was so happy with the experience, we went back the next day.
However, this second time was a complete disaster… the waitress from the previous day wasn’t there and this other one didn’t have a clue about gf although she said she did. I decided to go for the safe option and order the consomé again because I knew it was safe, but the waitress told me that it contains gluten! Imagine my surprise… After I questioned the ingredients she thought that coconut milk was the problem but since I didn’t have any issues then it must be ok?? I checked the milk can and it was gf thankfully, but after this and all the questions I did regarding other gf options, they clearly had no idea about what is gf or not. The sushi seems another safe option, but surprise again…! They weren’t able to accommodate me a separately gf sushi plate because they serve a selection of all sushi types in a big plate (including tempura) and weren’t willing to separate the gf ones just for me… “we can’t change the way the dish is presented” was their excuse. This was really frustrating because even though they could prepare the items independently they just did not want to do it. I couldn’t understand that, but at the end I thought it was a good thing because that tells me that they probably are not good with cross contamination at all…
After this experience, I do NOT recommend this place at all, maybe the owners have changed or I don’t know, but it was a complete bummer :(
Btw- I have celiacs since I was 2, but I don’t react immediately or not obvious reaction, so I can’t be sure if I was glutened…

The manager was knowledgable and the food was delicious. So glad I found this spot!
As a note: The soy sauce on the tables is NOT safe; however, the soy sauce with which they cook and prepare the food is GF. If you ask, they’ll provide you with GF soy sauce packets.
Yes
I have eaten here both sushi and a veggie bowl. Almost everything on the menu is GF - and things that aren’t gf are marked as such. All of the soy sauce is gf. The staff is very knowledgeable and the place is clean. You must go visit here if you’re in Cartagena!

This is a great option if you’re looking for something different from regular Colombian fare. They have sushi bowls and rolls, ceviche and more. They specify on their menu that they use gluten free soy sauce. I had the salmon sushi bowl and loved it.
