Started the meal with an incredible hopped cider - they have a different tap for cider to avoid cross contact - by the fire pit. Staff was SUPER knowledgeable about cross contact and checked with the chef to ensure all my questions were answered.

The fries and schnitzel were both out of this world - being able to eat (lightly) fried food without getting sick was such a treat!

Oh my gosh please eat here! I went in with my family as we passed through hood river. The waitress was extremely helpful and patient with me as I’m very gluten intolerant. She helped me decide on the jagerschnitzel plate as it was totally gluten free and the oil fryer is also totally never used with gluten containing items. If you haven’t had anything fried in a while just please trust the goodness that this amazing entree is! Also if you miss fries and just want to go crazy, get the jagerschnitzel with fries and kraut! 🤌🏽

After reading other reviews, avoided the chicken, had the schnitzel with sauerkraut and potatoes. Very tasty! Menu items are marked gf.

Not a great experience. I’m pretty sure I was glutened. The chicken said it was gluten free, but the sauce that came with it was not… And flies. So many flies. I just hope the flies were gluten free!

My friend and I just got glutened here. We both got sick within 20 mins of leaving this place. We had fries and the chicken on the appetizer menu. Both were marked gf. I will never step foot in here again.

This place was NOT GF friendly. I don’t know why it has such a high rating on here but do not recommend!!!

My partner and friend both got glutened by the chicken or fries-both of which were labeled gluten free. They do not have gluten free buns, they were out of every type of seafood on the menu, and did I mention that flies flew around us and crawled all over us throughout the meal (and we were eating inside)! It was terrible.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover that they updated their menu and kitchen and now offer a multitude of GF options. They have a dedicated GF fryer (with some of the best fries I have ever had!) and a dedicated GF cider line pouring Son of Man cider (a local hood river cidery that does craft basque style cider - a must try!). I will absolutely be back!

We had a great time at pfreim and the service was wonderful. Not only did they have a lot of gluten free menu options. They also have a dedicated fryer.
