Our server was wonderful, brought us the gluten free menu when we requested it and made a note on our order for kitchen staff to change gloves. Unfortunately, my daughter was sick within an hour after our meal ended. I suspect cross contamination.

April 2022 - Restaurant management said the kitchen could not make anything but salad gluten free. The GF menu was discontinued 18 months ago, and the kitchen was understaffed.
Wonderful GF experience! They have a gluten free menu that they just released recently.

They don’t have GF menu but have several items that are gluten free. I had shrimp and scallops. Very good! I have celiac and didn’t get sick.

Restaurant manager said they couldn't make anything except salad gluten free, so we left. Disappointed, but appreciate the honesty!

We visited on July 7, 2021 and although there wasn’t a gf menu our server knew right away which items could be made gf. The food came out fast, hot and delicious. Our daughter had the Tuna Poke Nachos without the nachos. It was delicious. She has steamed mussels for dinner and some of our steam crab basket. For dessert we had a piece of flour chocolate torte which was to die for. Everything was wonderful. We will be back.

Ask for the gluten free menu, but all you really need to know is that they have gluten free crab cakes. With some of the old bay seasoning, they’re amazing!! <3
Great food. Gluten Free Menu. Most importantly- Gluten Free crab cakes!
Staff was very knowledgeable and kept reassuring that my meal was safe to make me feel comfortable.

Had steamed mussels and clams that did not disappoint! For my dinner I had the GF crabcake salad. The crabcake was delish after sprinkling it with old bay seasoning and the arugula salad served with it was very tasty. No issues after eating here either!
No gluten free menu but they do have plenty of options. GF crab cakes were very good but the sides are boring, coleslaw and a cucumber salad. Beware the potato salad if normally comes with is not gf!
I had the crab cake dinner. it was great. the sides were potatoes and squash. nothing great there. also had steamed shrimp to start. it was good. I also ate on the deck the following night. I had the crab feast. it was really good. I would visit again.
visited June 2016 again. I love the crabcake. no reactions
Great for tourists not for locals. Overpriced, no gluten free desserts and I felt very sick after.
Phillips has an extensive gluten-free menu and can easily accommodate my duel dairy intolerance. My server was knowledgeable but brought out a chef to speak with me to make sure my meal was prepared correctly. Had the crab cakes with roasted potatoes and spinach which were delicious. Phillips has a great gf menu, and pretty much all of it can be made dairy free too. I had the broiled seafood platter and a shrimp cocktail. Especially liked the platter- I had never had crab cakes before. Also they can make mango frozen margaritas dairy free, and they were delicious. Yummy food, knowledgeable management and servers and bonus points for the outdoor dining in a great weather.
Just ate there. The food was good, but not fantastic. They have a pretty good GF menu, including yummy GF crab cakes!
Good seafood and veggie sides!

Not many options and staff not so knowledgeable... No wonder they permanently closed. STILL on the hunt for amazing Gluten Free Seafood options in Atlantic City NJ.

While the food was good, they do NOT have a GF menu and options are not marked. Our waitress claimed she checked to make sure the meal I chose was GF, but I had a reaction the next morning.
Their staff was amazing about communicating the options and asked a bunch of questions to make sure they understood how to properly take care of the food. Amazing food and reasonable prices, the seafood steam dishes are all good because it’s steamed in water not beer:) I would recommend not to get chicken sausage with it since it’s hard to tell if that would be gluten free or not. Highly recommend!!!

Separate GF menu with several entree options. No GF dessert
Staff was not knowledgeable about gluten free items and the waitress said they had “lost” the gluten free menu. When I asked what would be safe, she said, “well, what can you usually eat?” I asked to speak to the chef or manager about options and the waitress came back saying that I could eat anything that was steamed. I had two appetizers (shrimp cocktail and steamed shrimp, mussels, and clams) in lieu of an entree and didn’t get sick, but it wasn’t a pleasant experience.
