It was tasty but no one there understood gluten. It was scary. It took us a while to work out that none of the meat was GF except for the raw meats in the soups. I was so worried the next day but didn’t feel bad.

This is part of a chain that I used to go to all the time when I lived in LA! I was so excited to learn there was one when I moved to Costa Mesa. They confirm their pho o on, including broth and noodles, is gluten free & safe on the menu online. And when I called to ask, they also confirmed. But they also seemed busy and eager to get off the phone. The menu at this restaurant is a little more comprehensive as far as other types of food available so I’m uncertain as to the level of cross-contamination avoidance, but they seem to be safe. I will communicate further with the owners in the future. I am very sensitive and did not get sick and that is a fairly reasonable test for me. But definitely ask about other items if you order! Delicious pho!
