I saw one great review, one poor review. I decided to take my chances. When we came, it was empty and we were told to order on an iPad. There was a spot to indicate any extra info, so I included “no hoisin - gluten free for an allergy” as the menu itself indicates. Supposedly all pho is gluten free as long as you ask for that. Also got chicken spring rolls and boba; all gluten free. Spring rolls were very bland. Boba was not amazing, also the straw made it impossible to get the tapioca pearls. Pho had minuscule amounts of toppings (like jalapeños) that fit into a small tray along with a ketchup squirt amount of Sriracha. Pho was yummy but not the best I’ve ever had. Couple hours later and I get that familiar feeling… as I head straight to the bathroom. Yeah. Much regret. If you have celiac I would avoid.
I ate here once years ago and didn’t feel great afterwards but wasn’t sure if it was something I had going on before eating there. Ordered again because I miss pho so much. Definitely got glutened even though I only had the pho which is supposed to be totally gluten free (sans hoisin sauce). Super disappointed. I’m super sensitive. My husband is also gluten free but less sensitive and he feels fine. The soup was delicious so if you’re not sensitive go ahead but I’m celiac and I can not recommend the food here.
I eat the Chicken Pho almost weekly, and have never had a problem. The Pho is delicious. Just make sure to avoid the hoisin sauce. I've had new waiters serve it by mistake.
I am on a Gluten-Free & Dairy-Free diet. I ordered Pho with Beef Brisket (Nam) WITHOUT the hoisin or siracha sauces for take-out. It was lovely. I recently came off of a stomach virus, so I was nervous. Their food agreed with me. Will definitely return to this place.
Great little place, with friendly and knowledgable staff. All Pho Soups are GF if ordered without hoisin sauce. We ordered 2 Pho soups, one with Beef Round Eye and Shrimp, the other with Brisket, as well as their Green and Jasmine teas. No gluten problems. Everything was delicious, and budget friendly. They also have Vegetarian options as well.
My family and I have eaten pho soup and fresh spring rolls here many times and haven't been contaminated by gluten, dairy or soy. This is a great Vietnamese restaurant and the staff are friendly and very accommodating.
