I have had piada before realizing allergy to gluten. Decided to try a salad as they use new utensils for all dishes and has gluten friendly listed under their options. Well boy was I wrong. The chef was rude as I ordered and began making the deluxe Cesar. The dressing is not listed as Gf. He asked if I would like protein. I selected crispy chicken, as it was indicated gluten friendly. He then continued to make the whole salad with Cesar dressing which I then pointed out I couldn’t eat. He got very agitated and didn’t acknowledge my substitutes when ordering the second time around. He also stated that the crispy chicken was not gluten free as it was breaded. I pointed out that their menu was wrong. He didn’t add onion or grated parm to the salad as he had on the first. Very disappointed. Don’t see myself returning anytime soon after that interaction.

They only have 2 GF options, both salads. And you have to modify even the glaze on the salad to make it GF. Only one GF dressing. Super disappointing.
I was witness to staff using thier gloved hands in salad and other products after handling piadas. I love this place but have been cross contaminated twice. won't be going back.
Staff did a good job catering to a gluten free allergy. They also have an online allergen list available
