We came here our first night because it was one of the few places with reviews. Let’s just say that we did not have a good experience. Definitely avoid if celiac. Chicken slouvaki was one of the few gluten free offerings. I ordered it and made it very clear that I wanted veggies on the side instead of the pita and fries. The waiter said I could have the fries but I knew better as they were definitely fried with other gluten items. We repeated ourselves multiple times and showed them a Celiac dining card in greek. He said he understood perfectly. Yet my meal came out with pita bread and fries! They took it back and brought out a new one with tomatoes. Yet it was inedible. The chicken didn’t even look like chicken. It was almost all fat and was pink and brown. I ordered chicken slouvaki at so many other nearby restaurants (i.e. Thalami and King Neptune), and it was AMAZING at the other restaurants (except way more expensive). This is the last place I would choose to go with celiac. The waiter also showed me into the kitchen because I asked what the baked chicken was (which was also GF). The kitchen was so gross, and he pointed out the baked chicken which didn’t look like chicken at all and was just sitting loosely already cooked on a tray of fries (and therefore already contaminated. thank god i didn’t order it). Not a good experience, but we did order the hummus which was DELICIOUS. The waiter I think felt bad and brought out a loaf of bread that he claimed was GF at the end, but I was too scared to eat it. Thoughtful of him though.

The souvlaki sticks were delicious and I did not get sick. Gluten free items were marked on the menu.

Very understanding staff!! Not the most accommodating menu (French fries are cooked in same fryer), but they made me a delicious side of grilled vegetables instead. Some meals are also served with lemon potatoes! Very good gyro
