Pica Rica BBQ

After reading the other reviews here, I felt confident giving Pica Rica BBQ a try. I’m so happy I did! The employees knew exactly which foods were gf, and when I told them I had celiac, they automatically changed gloves, got a fresh cutting board and knife, and carved my brisket from an untouched slab of meat. The street corn and potato salad were delicious. Loved the sausage! They don’t have any traditional bbq sauces that were gf, but I didn’t care. The honey Carolina and verde were safe and incredible.

Great food. When I mentioned I had Celiac, the guy behind the counter went and got all new utensils, changed gloves and got a new cutting board, then proceeded to use previously uncut meats to ensure there was no cross contamination. He took all the precautions and assured me what I could and could not eat. Essentially everything is gluten free sans the ribs and Mac and cheese.

Food tasted good but not many options for GF no good sauce or tortillas. I told them I have celiac just got pulled pork and a couple sides. Had a minor reaction. I won’t go back.

Pica Rica Bbq is very yummy. We ordered the Bbq plate for 2 plus one extra side for 2 people and a toddler. We definitely had left overs. The staff that served us was very accommodating to my celiac needs, asked questions if he did not know the answer. FYI, the ribs are marinated in a sauce with gluten, so he subbed a meat of our choice. The brisket was so tender, the babrbacoa was good, yet salty, and the sausage had a bit of spice. We had the potato salad and a side of half rice and beans. I recommend this place if you're in the mood for BBQ.

Legit bbq with a Mexican flare. Love it. Brisket and sausages particularly tasty and some excellent GF sides.

Super yummy BBQ! All meats gf, all sides except the Mac salad. They also knew which sauces were gf. Staff was knowledgeable and careful! Will definitely go again!

Had a great experience here, all meat is gluten free as well as all sides except the Mac and cheese. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Changed gloves happily when we asked.
