I had GF desserts purchased from here once and they were good. Went back yesterday for bfast and a canoli. I got a migraine a few hours later and my first thought was maybe canoli was in shared fryer. Came here to read reviews and low and behold. They really need to disclose the shared fryer part because I cannot tolerate anything in a shared fryer. Ugh.

They advertise GF cannoli, but they fry all cannolis in the same fryer.

GF coconut maccarone (macaroon)
GF Baci and GF Flourless Cake.
GF Baci (cocoa and hazelnut covered in chocolate). This was crazy good. It was $1.75 but worth it. BTW, the white stuff is powdered sugar from my GF pistachio cannoli.
GF pistachio cannoli. It was very good. I didn't ask but I think the shell may be baked, not fried. I was surprised how much I liked it.
GF pistachio cannoli. I liked it!

Gluten free cannoli options make this place worth it. They prepare those separately and on accession have some other GF desserts available.

Staff told me cannoli is fried in same fryer as everything else. They only have one fryer. I had the gf tiramisu and merengue cookie. They were good. Glad we asked about the fryer.

I had the best chocolate chip gluten free cannoli. I am also allergic to tree nuts and corn syrup and the manager took new filling for me. The shells are kept separate in a freezer so there is no cross contamination.

I had the GF pistachio cannoli and GF Baci (see photos). They were both very good. I've also had GF cannoli at Modern Pastry in the North End of Boston and I preferred this one. I think the cannoli shell was untraditional in that I think it was baked, not fried. I was surprised how much I liked it though. I'd go again. BTW, the GF cannoli are made to order. The guy changed gloves and appeared to take precautions. I have Celiac Disease and did not have a reaction.

How was this lovely bakery rated so highly as being safe for those with Celiac Disease? It most certainly is not. Items on the SAME tray with gluten containing items, on the same shelf along side gluten products, and stored on shelving underneath gluten products, no separate wrapping, dividers, etc. Cute place, probably delicious treats, but not safe for those with Celiac Disease or other medical concerns. Fine for the people who choose to eat gf but not for those who must.

Unbelievable! My wife has Celiacs and this place has amazing gluten free. Eggs Benedict is soooooo good! The cannoli's and other pastries that are gluten free are great. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about gluten sensitivities. Stop in you won't be disappointed.

Family favorite are the peppermint merengue cookies at Christmastime! I am not a fan of fried foods and their cannoli tasted oily to me-filling was yummy, just my taste buds

Went with family for them to enjoy. I was surprised to see a few things labeled GF. And then they recommended the GF Flourless Chocolate cake to my sister as one of their favorites. I found this funny and commented on it. Told them I had Celiac disease and they immediately told me about their GF options. They told me about the steps they took to ensure no CC but did caution that flour could be in the air so no 100% guarantees. I did try their GF chocolate chip cannoli, which was great. I tend to react strongly and quickly even to small CC, but had no problems. Also, their coffees were GF and fabulous!
