Was visiting Salt Lake City for a conference. Ordered a GF pizza with pineapple and cheese. Nothing special but I did not get sick.
If you are craving pizza made your way, this is the place. Excellent crust! I will be returning next time in SLC.
Best GF pizza I think I have ever had! Crust was 3/8 inch thick, chewy in a good way, and perfectly baked. I could pick it up and eat it like a traditional wheat-crust pizza. I had the Golden Gate (veggie + pineapple) and it was simply splendid. Perhaps a bit pricy, but IMO, for hat you get, it's totally worth it. If I am ever in SLC again! this will be a must do-over!
Sad to say this was the worst $24 I have ever spent on food. I can only speak for the gluten free pizza, so perhaps their regular pizza is better. But even the toppings on the gluten free pizza were terrible. The crust was chewy in a bad way- like it was undercooked or something and was completely flavorless. We had the Embarcadero pizza and the pesto was bland and there was not very much on it which left the pizza very dry. The only other things on there were chicken and cheese, both of which tasted very artificial. And it was a personal pizza that cost $20 because it was gluten free! And then let's not start on the side salad- iceberg lettuce and some yellow tomatoes. Service was fine though and they were prompt.
If you like a thicker chewy GF crust this is the place. Great choice of toppings too. I wish more locations had GF crusts.
I was not impressed with this pizza crust. The naked part at the edges was crispy and nice, but the part covered in toppings turned out almost rubbery. Very bland, tasteless crust, almost as if it were one they bought frozen or a boxed mix. On they up side, they made sure to cook it in a pan so that it did not touch the oven surface that the non-GF crusts touch. We also had their wings, which they assured us were GF and they were bland as well. In all, I wouldn't choose this restaurant again.
I have CD and absolutely love this pizza! The texture and taste is wonderful and I have never had a problem with cross contamination. They do warn you that they do not have a gluten free kitchen but have always been very careful to change gloves and clean pans and countertops. I am very sensitive to cross contamination and have always had a good experience here. I'm sure it depends on who is working/cooking and if they care enough to take the extra time to be careful! I love the gluten free BBQ chicken pizza without the chicken (Lombard Street). The price is high for just a medium but it's worth it to have good pizza again!!
