I see negative reviews so I thought I'd give my two cents. I decided my best bet was to arrive early (opens at six, we arrived at 7am) to avoid a busy restaurant and dirty griddles and honest mistakes made in the kitchen. I ordered the gf pancakes and some eggs and was told the griddle is cleaned prior to each order. I know I could still get hit but took the risk. Staff was very friendly and kept the coffee flowing. Food was delivered promptly and we never sat waiting around. The pancakes were some of the best I've had, and I live in the gluten free haven of Portland and consider myself a gf foodie. Now, considering this is diner food, my expectations weren't high. My kids wanted to eat here and they aren't gluten free. They were happy. And I didn't have a reaction! A good kitschy diner experience. Cute little gift shop, too.
