Very clean small space. Nice variety of empanadas and gluten free were clearly labeled. $5 per but they are tiny—small muffin tin size. More like a very tasty snack vs a meal.

The best spinach and cheese empanadas . Just a small little space off Miami Avenue in downtown Venice. I think they are new at this location so hard to find on Google but they are there. I looked them up and it says they are in Fort Meyers They must have 2 locations .

These Gluten free empanadas are just as crunchy, soft, and flakey as you remember them to be. They are also just as addicting if not more with flavors like ham and cheese (my favorite), traditional seasoned beef, bbq chicken, and for vegetarian, spinach and cheese or caramelized onions (with mushrooms!) and cheese. This location is little bit of a secret oasis in that it’s located off the street in downtown Venice tucked inside Burgundy Square. It’s a must not miss GF stop to grab some empanadas to snack on while shopping the avenue or heading off to the beaches. Pilar’s has been a staple at the farmer’s market and finally thankful they have their own brick and mortar store where you can pick up online orders any day now!
