When I asked if menu had gluten free options I was told NO!
Speaking with the cashier, I would not eat here if I had celiac disease.
My kiddo has celiac disease, but we fed the kids and I wanted to try something fun with the hubby. I asked what she could have next time.
I was advised that the chicken is marinated in seasoning that has wheat. I was told that the shrimp and chicken are cooked on the same surface.
Won’t be risking it for my symptomatic sensitive celiac kiddo.

I had another great visit to Pineapple Ninjaz food truck tonight. I like to pick it up and bring it home. There are picnic tables there too. I had the Guhmp Bowl. When Pineapple Ninja first opened, I visited and wasn't impressed. Everyone kept talking about how good it was. I finally visited again a few months ago. I loved it. I finally understood what everyone was saying.
The Gump Bowl is what I keep going back to. I know the sauce they use on their other items is not gluten free, so please talk to the person in the window. My shrimp was perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. The zucchini (grilled) fries were a lovely side a long with the al dente jasmine rice. Once you finish this, there is the pineapple bowl to eat for dessert.
The only thing I don't like is the location. It's on a busy section of Padre Blvd. You have to watch for the stoplight to change, then you can get out. It is worth the hassle.
You definitely need to visit Pineapple Ninjaz food truck when you visit. It is something fun and different.

I had an Amazing "Guhmp bowl" of grilled seasoned shrimp on a bed of seasoned rice with grilled pineapple and zucchini. Other options looked GF too.

Staff is super cool and food is amazing...but it made me sick. I asked if they had gf options and they said everything was gf, which made me Leary, and I should’ve went with my gut instinct. I had the pineapple bowl and the chicken bowl and was in excruciating pain. Don’t get me wrong, it tasted amazing, but obviously not worth the pain. If the staff was more educated on gluten, and I could’ve ordered something that wouldn’t have harmed me, I would give this place a full 5+ stars, but until then...
