Locally owned (60 years, one family) butcher with impressive meats for sale (sausage, NY strip, ribeye, burgers, T-bone, chicken, a lot more, see picture, includes aged items). Sausage casing is GF (andouille, Italian – sweet and spicy, more). They sell wine, didn’t see GF beer, lots of sodas. This retro dive with slick floors also has a grill, no GF bread but burgers good enough without it, would be better with it (next time I’ll bring my own), and salads. Amazing (!) potato salad. There are ways to adapt items to be GF. Fryer isn’t dedicated. So chips and fries not ok. What this place has is a lot of old school ambience and charm. Easy to pass by without thinking twice. Meats taste great, fresh.
