Love this restaurant!! They don’t have things marked on their menu, but the staff is always super knowledgable. I’ve been here 4+ times and have never gotten sick. For a while, one of the main servers (don’t remember his name) had a family member with Celiac disease so he was super helpful. Other servers have been similarly knowledgeable and helpful. I’ve gotten the bolognese, the pasta with mushrooms, and a seafood soup, and haven’t had issues with any of them.

Very tasty Italian Food!! They have GF penne and they boil in a separate pot of water if you tell them GF for medical needs. Amazing specials. Several GF desserts including tartufo with espresso shot over it. Pumpkin salad (special) was amazing.

Love Pisticci and have been going for years. You can substitute a gluten free penne into any of the pasta dishes. Sadly, though (at least so far) no gluten free garlic bread.

The pasta and sauce was delicious and my server knew all about Celiac.

One word of caution, their pasta is 100% corn, so if you can't tolerate corn you will have a stomach issue.

Very knowledgeable, friendly staff who are careful with gluten allergies. One of the servers has a girlfriend who has Celiac and he is especially good. One of the few options near Columbia for GF food. Only downside is that they charge an extra $5 for GF pasta, which is not entirely unreasonable since the pasta must be boiled in separate pot of water.

Delicious. Although I did feel a little jealous of my friends, who got to eat their homemade pasta. They just carry one kind of gf pasta, that can be substituted into any dish. The staff seemed knowledgable about gluten sensitivities and took precautions to avoid cross contamination.

Pisticci's is lovely! They don't have a separate GF menu but they can make a variety of the pastas GF, and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Amazing mussels. Cozy atmosphere. It makes up for the total lack of celiac-friendly places in morningside heights.
