I love eating here. Great salads to compliment the pizza. They use separate area to cut pizza. Yes they use the same wood oven but at 700 degrees I have never gotten sick after eating here. Love sitting watching the fire as the cheese bubbles.

Best gluten free pizza I have ever tasted, beats NY Gf vegan pizza places, and they have vegan cheese 😍😍 it’s a pizza place so know there is regular flour likely in the air. I have eaten here dozens of times with out issue, the waitstaff is

I was disappointed in our experience at Pizza Barbone. The GF crust was an extra $6. I asked if they could cook the pizza on a pan or piece of foil so the crust wouldn’t touch the same oven surface all the normal crusts did but they said they couldn’t do that. They tried to tell me that since the restaurant wasn’t busy, not too many other pizzas had been in the oven today (“just one”), so it’d be a little better. But they also said they don’t clean the oven overnight (so it really doesn’t matter if the place is busy or not). The whole experience made me doubt they really understood cross contamination and how to prevent it.

Pre-gluten free, this is the best pizza. However, I watched them make a gluten free pizza while at the bar and it is absolutely not Celiac safe. Absolute cross contact and no protocol followed. Same utensils, hands and floured countertop used.

High possibility of cross-contamination

Had the gluten-free cashew-milk mozzarella pizza. Taste was excellent however I had gluten poisoning immediately after eating it.

GF pizzas were the best my wife and daughters have had outside of Milan! No issues with cross contamination (they are all very sensitive to gluten) for us as the temperature in the pizza oven is so high.

Don't come here if you have an actual allergy. The pizzas are cooking in the same oven and moved around on the exact same surface. Too much cross contamination. They also thought rice wasn't gluten free...

The pizza crust was the best GF pizza crust I have had so far! The owners make their own GF dough from ingredients from Italy and their dedication to high quality food shows.
