BEST PIZZA IN ROMA! My family and I went to Pizza in Trevi our first night in Rome. As a celiac, it can be difficult to find restaurants knowledgeable about a gluten free diet. Pizza in Trevi was amazing for me because it was AIC certified and had a separate kitchen for gluten free meals. The employees were very knowledgeable about celiac and gave me a different colored placemat (so they knew I was the one with the gf meal) and provided a gluten free menu which was just like the main menu but gluten free! They also provided wrapped utensils, and a different cup to prevent cross-contamination. The employees are very nice and funny. I ordered a gf margarita pizza and it was by far one of the best pizzas I have ever had. My sister ordered a non gf pizza and she loved it. We ended up going back two days later because we liked it so much. I decided to try the bruschetta and gf spaghetti with pomodoro sauce, both were delicious. Another benefit of the restaurant was the location. It is located right next to the beautiful Trevi Fountain. The restaurant gets busier at night so I would recommend going earlier, around 5 if you are looking for a quick meal. I would 100% recommend going if you choose to visit Rome.
