Pizza Patio

This restaurant was wonderful to our non celiac family members. Unfortunately, my daughter ordered the GF pizza crust and was very sick within the hour. I think it was most likely a cross contamination issue…but please don’t advertise you are gluten free if you truly don’t take all of the precautions to keep people safe who have gluten related illnesses.

Delicious pizza and very friendly staff! I called ahead and was told their gluten free pizzas are prepared separately. I ordered the veggie lovers pizza. The crust itself was packed with flavor with a nice crunch. I have to say its one of the best thin crust gluten free pizzas I've had.

The wait staff was very attentive and suggested gluten free options. I had the GF pizza crust, it was good. The wait staff made sure they used a separate pizza cutter as well. I didn't get sick and would definitely go back if I'm ever in the area again.

Overall good experience. The atmosphere was very cozy and warm, and the staff was attentive and friendly. My dad and I both ordered gluten free pizza. The gluten free charge was a little steep ($3), but that’s not a huge surprise for us long-suffering celiacs. The crust wasn’t the most spectacular I’ve ever had but was far from the worst, and the toppings tasted fresh. The waitress accidentally brought my dad a normal pizza, but as soon as she discovered her mistake she apologized, had the pizza remade, and brought out a new one as soon as she could. I was very happy to find this nice little place, as it’s so often hard to find good, safe food in small towns like this.

I called ahead and spoke to the owner about cross contamination and was assured that the pizza was safe for celiac. I had a pepperoni pizza on the GF cauliflower crust. It was very good and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about celiac. I had no reaction and plan to go back to this restaurant while we are in Alamogordo.
