I was so pleased to learn they are now doing gluten free pizzas. My last one was back in 2016 before I learned I had to give up wheat and any gluten. I’ve checked in ever since because the Nduja sausage pizza was the best.
The gluten free base is actually quite good. It doesn’t puff up like a wheat flour based pizza but it’s not extremely thin like some gluten free pizzas; it has a nice spring to it and the usual chard flavour from the oven. The Nduja was spot on and made a great pizza; spicy and complimented with fresh basil. Well worth the 1.5hr drive.
Shop and make this stop.
Now this is a pizza restaurant so it is a flour environment. Please take this into consideration. I risked it but that was my decision. They do their best to limit cross contamination, it’s also open view so you can watch your pizza being made and fired.
