The first time I ordered a pizza they said they were completely out of the gluten crust. I was offered the salad bar. I declined as I can eat salad all day long at home. I had come for the pizza. My boys don't need gf and they were really excited to eat pizza, so we all stayed and I sat and watched them eat. A few weeks later, the second attempt was successful. The boys were finishing up their dessert by the time my gf pizza was ready. They brought it out to me in a To-Go box. On a positive note, their pizza was so tasty! However, I didn't feel the best the next day. Not horribly sick, but not great either. Maybe I will ask more questions about their gluten free kitchen procedures or possible soy.
Delicious Pizza! Their pizza is prepared on its own pan and with dedicated ingredients. Since they are buffet style, it is served in its own box right to each gf customer who orders one, and comes with a clean serving spatula and plates. I have celiac and would consider this location celiac friendly. However, they have a lot of new employees, so still Always make sure that they fully understand how careful they need to be in prepping your order, and if something doesn't seem right, ask politely for the manager- they are usually happy to help and respond to any concern you may have. Also of course make sure to wipe down your eating area and hands before serving up your gf pizza because the tables, door handles, napkin dispensers, ect will have been contaminated and you typically eat pizza with your hands. 4 stars is because while they are great, their staff isn't always fully aware of the process already since so many are new right now, and their pizza crusts edges do often come out burnt (even though every other part of the pizza is perfect!)
They are very knowledgeable about celiac and cross contamination! We call in a "take out" order of the gluten free pizza about 20 minutes before we go then we pick up the gluten free pizza bring it to a table and those who can eat gluten can eat the regular pizza buffet and we all eat pizza together! The gluten free pizza crust sticks a little to the pan but we've had a great eating our experience there!
This place is delicious!!! Best gluten free pizza I've had in a long time! My husband had the deep dish regular pizza and said it was also amazing! Love that they have separate prep areas and the gluten free pizza is cooked in it's own foil pan so it won't be cross contaminated! Yay! We were traveling through on a nine hour trip and I wish it was in our town!! Will be stopping here the next time we come through to visit family for sure!
I have ordered a gluten free pizza for delivery numerous times from Pizza Ranch. Most of the toppings are gluten-free too. The pizza is cooked in a separate area. I have Celiac Disease and have never had problems after eating gluten-free pizza from Pizza Ranch.
Crusts are packaged and kept separate. They clean all surfaces, change gloves and get fresh ingredients. They also use a clean cutter and serve the pizza Iim a closed box. I'm a celiac and didn't get sick. Also... The pizza actually tasted very good. One of the better gf crusts I've had actually better than what I remember the gluten crust tasted like. I would let them know if you are celiac or are otherwise sensitive (like I am). Recommended.
This is our first time trying a pizza ranch. We are on a family vacation and thought we'd give it a try. While their pizza crust and toppings are gluten free, there is a high level of potential cross contamination which I am almost certain happened. The food tasted good, but my son who has celiac started complaining of a stomach ache almost immediately after we finished our lunch. I also have celiac and felt bloated all afternoon and am in severe abdominal distress this evening. I wouldn't recommend for someone with celiac just because of the cross contamination potential.
I am on a gluten free diet and we have had a hard time trying to find where to eat out as a family. We assumed that Pizza Ranch would have gluten free crust. They did! They also can't promise that everything else is gluten free because they don't have two different kitchens.
The Pizza Ranch is the first pizza parlor that I've ever eaten gluten free pizza from since I'm so sensitive to cross-contamination. I was traveling from out of town and our family was going to dinner here. I figured I wouldn't be able to eat safely but I decided to talk to the manager. The manager was very helpful and explained that they use Rich's gluten free pizza crusts (which are made in a dedicated gluten free facility), that they are stored in a separate area of the kitchen, that they are prepared in a separate pan using separate utensils in a separate area of the kitchen, etc. They even brought the pizza out to me in a pizza box (I'm guessing to avoid any possible cross-contamination). I'm super sensitive to minute amounts of gluten and I did not get sick. The pizza was delicious. They even made it dairy free for me.
Same price as normal buffet, You can order pizza with Gf crust with any toppings. Cheese bead, with out the seasoning. Very good. Been coming here years with my family and both my mom and I have celiac. Would definitely recommend to anyone having a pizza craving.
