Before anyone takes this as gospel, know that I was 3 solo cups full of booze from Moon Doggies and 2 Zombies from Frankie’s deep when I ate this, but their GF Vegetarian was AWESOME.
I’ve eaten at Evel many times and always enjoyed it. Had not had Pizza Rock since my celiac diagnosis in 2018, but after reading reviews decided to give it a go. I was such a fan of the crispy thin crust (not what I normally find out there from GF pizzas). Toppings were excellent. Server was knowledgeable. Didn’t get sick. Saved me from a massive hangover after eating every last friggin bite. Love it.
The atmosphere is great. They play good music and the menus are contained in album covers. The staff were all super friendly. The Gorgonzola Apple salad and gluten free Pancetta Gorgonzola pizza were fabulous. The sauce tasted like puréed stewed tomatoes. The toppings were fresh and good quality. They have a separate pizza oven but give a warning that the facility does make other items containing flour. I didn’t feel sick from either item we ate. They also said they can make most pizzas gluten free. Oh and they have Mug root beer! Will definitely be back whenever we are in downtown LV!
My whole family and I loved Pizza Rock! I am the only person in my family with celiac, but everyone agreed my pizza crust was wonderful! The gluten free crust is a $5 up-charge on already pricey pizza, so be aware of that. I am not particular about cross-contamination, so I unfortunately can’t speak to that, but the food was wonderful and I did not have any issues.
Heads up: I didn’t try the gluten free crust because the waiter gave me a heads up that cheese helps bind this cauliflower crust and I also avoid dairy.
This is not only the best GF pizza I’ve ever had, but the best pizza I’ve ever had in the States. Period. I’m very picky about Italian food bc I am Italian and have lived in Italy. I’m sad that now I’ll probably never have it again! I got the Tomato Pie and it was worth every bit. I think with the $5 GF crust upcharge it was $30 but could have easily been split between 2-3 people. I, naturally, ate the whole thing by myself and am beyond miserable but don’t regret a thing. 🤣 GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m baffled. I read a lot of reviews here and elsewhere online and still didn’t want to get my hopes up too high, but this is one of the worst pizzas I’ve ever had. It’s like school lunch pizza. It’s bizarrely bad. The crust is like a cracker (not in a good way) and while I expected cured meats as toppings, the pizza is wayyyy too salty, and not all the listed toppings were on the pizza. Hopefully I don’t get sick because it wouldn’t have been worth it. Freschetta GF is a million times better than this. I’m embarrassed I ordered it (for delivery, so it was even more expensive).
🌾🚫 Dedicated Gluten Free Pizza Oven
🚗 We ordered our pizza through Uber Eats. Prior to placing the order, we called to confirm their gluten free preparations. Upon receiving our pizza, the Uber driver confirmed this was a specialty gluten free pizza.
🍕 We ordered the Gluten Free Pancetta Gorgonzola Pizza with the addictions of: Fresh Mozzarella, Prosciutto, and Basil 🌿
🔺 Pricey 🍕 but delicious! I just saw the tip about happy hour on here! We’ll definitely give that a try next time we’re in the area!
I was visiting Las Vegas and my non-celiac friends raved about this place and I was pleased to see they offered GF bread and vegan cheese (I also cannot eat dairy.)
I opted to create my own pizza with bacon, Canadian ham, and pineapple. Very good and I did not get ill! My only complaint was how expensive it was. It was close to $40 for the toppings, gluten free bread (which was very thin type bread), and vegan cheese. But I was happy to enjoy pizza with my friends have have something different so it was worth it!
It was hard to ask questions via the phone since I was ordering it to go and their background noise was too loud, but per my understanding it wasn’t cooked on any shared surface in the oven. I am very sensitive and will even get sick with small cross-contamination and I had zero reaction.
First time. Don't be fooled by the "limited GF pizza offered". They have two kinds of pizza with a variety of toppings in the menu. But they offer GF crust and you can get most any kind of other pizza on the menu. Separate oven is the reason I came. Yes, they admit they do prepare near other non-GF pizza, so that's the risk you must weigh. But my pizza (just got cheese) was good, flavorful and a good size. I asked about a few toppings but since the waitress wasn't sure, I just declined at the table rather than have her check.
this is my favorite pizza in all of vegas. i get the gorgonzalla gf pizza. it's a little bit salty, a little bit sweet and little bit savory. their crust is delicious. my mother, who hates pizza is always asking for my crust. i was also told you can pretty much order any of their pizzas and use the gf crust with the exception of the deep dishes. it's not a dedicated gf space though. they cook them in the same fire oven. I'd also highly suggest trying the local made root beer. i like that they use delivery services, but it's so cool looking inside it's worth eating in just once.
Pancetta GF pizza is fantastic, with the greens on top! I make it a point to go to Pizza Rock whenever we are downtown. I know it's not a dedicated GF space though.
This is a very generic chain restaurant and there are only two pizzas available gluten free (basically a veggie or a meat option.) However, the gluten free crust was great, it actually tasted like pizza crust instead of cardboard! I am very sensitive and tend to get sick after eating out despite asking questions and trying my best to communicate with servers. I didn’t have high hopes of finding food in Vegas that would taste good And not make me sick, but this place far exceeded my expectations and I really appreciated it!
I really wanted pizza, so decided to ask at this place as some reviews did say it was celiac friendly. As soon as we talked to our server about celiac disease, he was quick to explain that they are able to take many precautions, there is flour flying around their kitchen all the time and there is no way for them to prevent cross-contamination we thanked our server and tried another place. Fun atmosphere though! And I appreciated that the server was willing to lose out on a table and a tip to keep us safe.
My family and I were in Vegas this past August and we decided to try Pizza Rock for some pizza, even though it said it only had two choices. I've had GF pizza from all over the globe. This was the best pizza I ever had. We ordered both kinds of pizza - one veggie and one filled with meat. The veggie pizza was out of this world. So on our last day in Vegas, we went back. The server said, you can order any pizza on the menu GF. What! So we did, and my goodness. This place is fantastic. It's a sports bar, so it is always packed and noisy, but it's off the Strip, and a stones throw away from Fremont Street.
