I brought my mom and two friends to the restaurant and had the best experience ever. My mom and I are celiac and we felt very safe. The owner came out to explain that his daughter is celiac as well, it’s taken him 3 years to perfect his pizza dough and let me tell you it was time well spent! Extremely welcoming staff and the food was amazing. A must go to restaurant when you’re in Albufeira!

I had such a lovely experience here. Basically everything on the menu is gluten free. The owners daughter is coeliac so he is very knowledgeable. Every waiter was informed of my allergy and were able to answer all my questions. Food was delicious!

Fantastic little place. Very good for coeliacs and the fresh pizza was amazing. The server took me through what I could have from the menu and was very knowledgeable. When I told them I am coeliac and need a gluten free meal they swapped my place mat colour and cutlery so that all staff knew I needed gluten free. I had potato skins for starter and they were delicious, rustic pizza for main, also delicious. Unfortunately I was too full for dessert. I would highly recommend. I did have to pay a little extra surcharge for gluten free but I didn’t mind for the peace of mind.

The gluten free pizza is delicious and I’m so glad we found this place they have options for starters, pizzas and desserts. You need to book a day in advance for them to prepare the kitchen for gluten free so plan in advance. We weren’t disappointed and the service was brilliant. We’re coming back for coffee and cake before we head home to England.

Fantastic Italian restaurant offers gluten-free pizza and pasta. I think they only have a limited amount of gf pizzas so they recommend booking before you go(which we did). The pizza bases are 10” deep pan style and are fluffy and light. I couldn’t tell it was gluten-free! They have a load of gf pasta (although we didn’t try any) which is all listed separately on their website. The staff were really friendly and accommodating; I didn’t have that ‘this lot are awkward’ feeling you sometimes get which meant we could just enjoy ourselves. They are really switched on to food allergies: the cutlery was packaged separately and the place setting and plate were a different colour to avoid cross-contamination. We also had a lactose intolerant with us and they were able to do a lactose-free carbonara for her, which she said was delicious.

We had a Brazilian and a Boss pizza, both amazingly tasty, but the Boss was next level. The best pizza I've ever had! The base was so good my partner who isn't celiac also said it was amazing. I ordered the penne arrabiata (GF style) it was absolutely unreal. My partner had the normal penne arrabiata and he also loved his. The staff were really friendly and welcoming too.

This place is amazing. They have a dedicated gluten free kitchen, best pizza crust I have had in Europe hands down. The apple crumble desert was amazing. Coeliac, lactose free and veggie catered for two nights. They offer vegan cheese on pizza and I also had a vegetarian bolgnaise. Very adaptable with the menu if there is things you can't eat! Fries gf but no gf garlic bread. Strawberry daiquiri amazing too!

I ordered a gluten free pizza to go from here. Personally did not love the location, crazy party street but the pizza was one of the better ones I’ve had in Portugal. The crust is pretty doughy but I appreciated that it wasn’t crisp like a cracker :)

The gluten free pizza is incredibly fluffy and delicious. The owner told me he worked 3 years to perfect the crust and I would say that he succeeded! It is the best pizza I have eaten since I was diagnosed with celiac disease. I appreciated that they gave me a separate placemat and sealed silverware because of my allergy. In addition to the option of ordering any pizza on their menu GF, they also had a GF pasta menu. Their knowledge of celiac was very comforting. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Remember the first time you saw the opening scene to Star Wars Episode IV - when your jaw hit the floor ? Well this place is the culinary equivalent of Star Wars - utterly EPIC !

The GF pizza is indistinguishable from muggle pizza. My wife couldn’t tell that it was GF. They also do a range of GF pasta dishes.

They take *serious* care to eliminate any chance of cross contamination in action (down to cutlery that is wrapped / sealed separately). The service is superb. Really friendly and quick.

Welcoming on arrival, followed by very attentive staff throughout our meal. Early identification of who is coeliac and a different coloured place mat to show this. Daughters of the owner is celiac. Everyone that we talked to knows everything about celiacs. Absolutely fantastic restaurant. All pizzas you can get GF. They have a wide range of GF on the menu. Highly recommend the wings. They use different coloured mats for GF customers and cutlery comes in a bag. They are super careful and prices are affordable. Overall amazing experience. I ate the 4 days I was there and never had an issue as a coeliac. Thankyou again.

Just off the main strip in a secluded alcove, the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. Overall a highly enjoyable dinner. Fantastic place for my daughter who has a gluten and lactose intolerance. They take this very seriously and you can order your gluten free base the day before. Great great great experience! Sergio and Christine with their daughter (celiac) are extraordinary hosts. I had called in advance to reserve a table and mentioned that my son is celiac. At the table, he had a specified place with sealed ustensiles to avoid contamination. We ate pizzas and I was jealous of the gluten free pasta they served (although the regular was also excellent). I haven’t seen many restaurants as gluten free friendly. If you go to Albufeira, it is a “must go” place! Thanks again to Sergio and Christine!

This Pizzaria offers the best gluten-free experience I have ever had at a restaurant! I got a different placemat from the rest of the guest so that the employees knew I had allergies. When we got the menu, the owner came to me on his own initiative to explain what I could and couldn't eat (I have three food allergies in total and always have to ask whether I can eat something). He also did this when we got the dessert card. The pizza was super delicious and thick, something that is not regular at all with gluten free pizzas. The owner and his employees were super kind to everyone and made sure all 35 people of our group had a great time. Thank you so much!

This place is truly amazing. Make sure you put in the address number 18. There is another place with the same name on the same block but they do not do GF pizza. The owner at this location #18 has a daughter w celiac and are very aware of GF items and cross contamination. Super friendly and knowledgable staff. Pizza was great. Always call ahead to reserve a GF pizza since they make it upon request only. Lots of choices and delicious pizza. Owner’s daughter is celiac so we felt very safe!!!!Will definitely come back!!!
