Not the most amazing pizza ever, but definitely better than some really dry, thin crusted pizzas I’ve had in Italy. Could get any of their pizzas gluten free and other items on the menu were marked if they contained wheat. Also got a salad and french fries and had no issues!

They had some of the best gf pizza I’ve had in awhile. There were over 30 combinations of toppings, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I am unsure if it is suitable for celiac because I only have an intolerance. I would ask if you are celiac, just in case.

Not safe for Celiac. They use shared utensils and cook the pizzas on the same surface as regular pizzas. The regular pizzas were good based on opinion of others in our party, but nothing special. Gave them a pizza cutter after they had finished half their pizza using a fork and knife.

Ordered a Pizza from the menu on a gluten free base (all toppings were gf). Great that you were able to choose from an extensive list of pizzas. Also had gf beer and other specific gf menu sections. Informed the bases are bought in from external provider but cooked in the wood fired pizza oven and tasted really good. Am coeliac and had no reaction. Would dine here again. Service was ok.

Really good pizza and had gluten free Peroni to go with it. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Went on Friday and sat outside. Was busy with people waiting. Takeout also seemed to be available. £3.00 extra for gluten free base

GF pizza was excellent! Could order any pizza and get it GF. They also gave dairy free pizza (marinara) that is delicious! We also tried the local dish, Farinata, that is naturally GF and it was DELICIOUS!!! We got onions on ours. Fantastic restaurant!

I think Pizzeria La Smorfia’s pizzas are as close to what I remember gluteny pizzas being like: they are SO good. The dough tastes and feels like non-GF dough, and although the restaurant serves non-GF pizzas too, mine had been cooked in its own pan and there was no cross-contamination. I wish we had more time here because I’d go back to Pizzeria La Smorfia as many times as I could!

Do not go here if you have celiac disease, it is not worth it. They have no procedures or precautions for cross contamination and unfortunately the town doesn’t have many places to eat so I had to go here. A couple hours later and I am very sick.

The menu says everything can be ordered gluten-free. I ordered a pizza that was good. They burned the crust, but I’ve had so much trouble getting anything gluten-free in Italy that I don’t really care. You might think that’s a contradiction because people claim it’s so easy to GF here. Don’t believe them. I can’t tell you have any restaurants I walked up to who say I’m sorry, madam, we can’t help you.

The pizza was good for gluten free although not the best we’ve had. Probably fine for gluten sensitive people but not celiac. Unfortunately my daughter was sick within an hour.

Best gluten free pizza I had during my week long stay in Italy. Lotsss of options. Also had gluten free beer! :)
Yes
My wife and I split a GF pizza and two GF Peroni beers. This was the best GF pizza so far on our trek through Italy!
Yes
Gluten free pizza crust available. It wasn’t great compared to the pizzas in Florence. Seemed to have been prepackaged instead of homemade. But still nice to find GF pizza.
Tons of GF pizza options! Best GF pizza crust we’ve had to date. Took ours to go and it came in a special pan. Went back for lunch the next day.

Gluten free pizza are baked in plates so that pasta is not contaminated. My coeliac daughter had no symptom after eating a good gluten free pizza.

Best gf pizza I’ve had since being diagnosed with celiac. Very large variety. The staff was knowledgeable. My nephew and I are both celiac but not really sensitive. Neither of us had a reaction and his parents ordered regular pizza and loved it. By the way, the gluten free beer was also very good. It’s a definite must try.

best gf pizza I’ve ever had - seems to be made in a wood fired oven. I had the bufala napolitano pizza it was amazing! I am very sensitive and did not react. they do also serve regular pizza which my bf said was very good as well.
Yes
Very small place, knowledgeable staff, good selection of GF pizza. Also GF beer! Not the fanciest pizza one can find in Italy, but I enjoyed mine. As a very sensitive Celiac, I had no problems, so I consider this place Celiac-friendly.
Yes
So nice to enjoy GF pizza and beer - lots of choices of pizzas and super service. I enjoyed the flavor and texture of the crust, and it held up as leftovers, too!
Best gluten free pizza ! Soooo much choices !
