Their regular pizza dough is tossed fresh in facility. High chance of cross contamination!
This was a great pizza delivery option! The delivery was on time as they had predicted. They knew and already had precautions for a gluten allergy, and they have tons of options to choose from. You can also order in either a medium or a large, which is nice! It’s not the best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had, but it was pretty good still!
Helpful staff who took care to check all ingredients if they weren’t sure and made efforts to avoid cross contamination (separate pan, new pizza cutter, etc). I was safe eating here - loved my salad, pizza toppings were awesome. GF pizza crust is corn based which has less of a chewy texture than the rice based crusts that I’m used to.
Had Chinese chip salad No wontons and small pizza. Was surprised by the crust! Saw on site that main ingredient was corn, turned out to be great. Definitely some kick to the spices in red sauce.
It was great! They were super nice and hooked us up with a large pizza when we only ordered regular and they perfected the definition of gluten free pizza. By far the best pizzeria I have ever had
Every time I have gone here the food has been amazing. They work hard to make sure my pizza is 100% Gluten free. I have never had a problem!
Terrific GF pizza! We walked a short two blocks up to the Portland State store and were treated as expected guests (we're in our 60s. You must purchase a full medium pizza in most cases and it is perfect for two. The pizza is attractive, holds together well and is delicious! Hotel Modera reccomends this restaurant for great pizza period and boy were they spot on. So good we navigated to their east side store for a GF pizza for lunch the next day. I have celiac and was very worried about getting Pizza here. I let them know I had celiac and ordered gluten free and no dairy. It was a very busy night and I did not get sick after eating this Pizza. Not only was it delicious but they worked hard to limit contamination.
With that said, there is a chance for contamination in the pizza oven and in the prep area. They cooked my pizza on its own pan with the edges covered to reduce the risk of contamination. The pizza was placed straight into the box and cut in the clean box. They changed gloves and used a clean pizza cutter. I was impressed with the effort they made to limit my exposure on such a busy night.
The pizza itself was delicious BUT I did have a reaction. I noticed the staff that night was very young and care free which is fine. They seemed like they were having fun playing with each other while working but I dont think they were in the right headspace to really take care with getting my food made safely. I would be willing to try again but would really watch them.
The crust wasnt very good and the tables and whole restaurant was VERY dirty, crumbs everywhere and if you dont be carefull and are not aware you can get cross contamination VERY easily 🙅♀🤦🏽♀
