Staff was very knowledgeable and the food was fantastic. They thoroughly cleaned the wok and brought out GF soy sauce. The salmon sushi and pad tai were phenomenal! GF items are on a separate menu.

Manager, Patrick was phenomenal in explaining the extra care they take for safety. Great food. Ask for gluten free menu and tell server you have celiac. They have separate cutting boards, utensils and extra eyes on food prep. No issues after.

This was my first time at PL8. My wife had been their twice and recommend we try it. With all new restaurants, I asked everyone lots of questions. Our server understood my situation the moment I started asking questions. We talked about soy, wasabi and fish eggs. He explained how the kitchen worked and the chiefs work-ethic.
I had cut fish, both nigiri and sashimi, and it looked, smelled and tasted fantastic. My wife and I shared the GF edamame and beans. We also split one of the GF rolls on the GF menu. I don't recall the name but it had tuna, yellow-tail, avocado, cilantro and fish eggs (Masago or Tobiko). It was one of the best rolls I have experienced.
First, I felt fine after eating at PL8. Second, our server was spot-on. It showed that he has been there for a while and he knows his stuff. Third, the food was also spot-on.
