Used to be good for GF bit it's gone downhill since COVID. Wait staff doesn't even know what gluten is. Mesa Latina in Manteca serves simular dishes but take GF seriously.

Food is extremely good. Many items that they adjust for GF. The servers ask the chef if they’re unsure instead of just saying it’s gf. Everything is fresh and tasty. I haven’t found South American/ethnic food this good in the United States.

Featuring the food from El Salvador. This is not a chain restaurant so expect a little waiting. The gf items are corn or rice flour hand made Pupusas. We also had the fried plantains and yucca fries. They offer the yucca fries fried or steamed. Check their online menu. There are lots of choices. Immediately off I-5 so easy to find and a nice break if traveling the state of CA.
