I went on a busy Wed night, we had reservations at 8 and got sat just before 8:30. When I told the waiter I had a gluten allergy he let out an audible groan. Every appetizer I asked if I could eat he said no (and never gave any suggestions) except I could have gf penne. I ordered the polenta dish instead and it was horrible. I didn’t get sick but would never go back.
I called ahead to check on gluten free options. The person on the phone was very knowledgeable and listed a number of gluten free and can be prepared gluten free options.
Once at the restaurant, the waitress was very helpful in navigating the menu. Made sure appetizer was prepped gluten free (well, one, the other could not be prepped as such). She also reminded me not to eat the bread!
She made sure one of the specials could be prepped gluten free. Everything was great!
