They said they had GF options including mac and cheese but when we got there, all I could eat was scrambled eggs. Also, not about the diet but service was unfortunately poor.

I was going with a big group for bottomless brunch and didn’t have much say in where we went, so I called ahead and was assured that there are some GF options. When I spoke with my waitress, she said that all of the ‘benedict’ dishes were gluten free - they have a few options, all served on an ‘arepa.’ When the dish came out it was 75% side salad, which was not specified on the menu, and being on a low residue diet for IBD, I was disappointed to find that I couldn’t eat half of my meal. But I stayed optimistic and turned to the ‘Poco Benedict,’ which was two over cooked poached eggs over two measly corn squares — they resembled sad slices of polenta, with almost none of the features that make an arepa, well, an arepa. The best part of the meal was the home fries, which were quite good compared to everything else. Still hungry after my meal, I asked about the side of chorizo hash, figuring it was just a variation of what I’d already eaten. My waitress then informed me that the hash is chorizo plus home fries, but the home fries are FRIED IN THE SAME OIL as other foods :(( . A bit ‘shook,’ I scrambled and asked for the scrambled eggs, and then proceeded to freak out about possibly being glutened. I felt a bit nauseous for the rest of the afternoon, but I also had a good number of drinks with brunch — so I don’t know what caused the nausea. tldr; get a safe GF brunch elsewhere and then go on a bar crawl of the many dive bars in LES
