Poké Sushi

I ordered a spicy tuna roll and my boyfriend ordered a roll with tempura, the end of my roll had tempura on it and I tasted it after I ate it. Definitely got sick from that. I was assured that the chef was aware of the allergy. It was delicious, but not gf, they do have gf soy sauce.

— Good

They have gluten free options but it’s limited. I had a shrimp roll and a tuna avocado roll. I was disappointed that I couldn’t eat a lot of rolls because they had eel sauce or other gluten ingredients but at least they had a decent selection and the server was very helpful.

The server I spoke with was very knowledgeable and helpful, and double checked with the chef that everything I ordered was GF (as well as dairy and egg free).

I felt really safe ordering, however half way through eating my sushi roll, I bit into something crunchy that tasted fried. It definitely wasn’t meant to be there/was a CC thing. I spit it out immediately and rinsed my mouth, but I’m an asymptomatic celiac so I really can’t say for sure if it contained gluten. I assume it was from tempura or something.

I will try again because the quality was amazing and the server was so helpful - I’ll just be sure to explain my experience and hope that they take better precautions next time!
