Review of Pongauer Stube

This restaurant is located in the Alpenland Sporthotel in St. Johann Im Pongau. They have been WONDERFUL in accommodating our GF needs. Not only do they have GF pizza (which was filled with amazing toppings) and pasta, they also have a GF schnitzel! This was the highlight of our restaurant experience in Austria as my son had watched everyone else enjoy schnitzel all vacation, and finally he could join in the fun! They also have a buffet breakfast that includes GF bread and granola, in addition to eggs, meats, cheeses, etc. I can't say it is celiac friendly, but my extra-sensitive son has not gotten sick so far! They actually have 2 restaurants...but will bring either menu to either side.
