Great menu options, but our son with life threatening allergies to wheat, barley and oats has had a reaction here the last 2 times we have eaten so we won't be returning.

They're just a little bit of training and process away from being gluten free and celiac-friendly. But definitely not celiac safe now. Shared prep, toaster, etc

This place is tasty, but it is not appropriate for celiacs. They do not have segregated kitchen space or practices and, sadly, two visits have gotten us sick.

Fantastic food and great service. The Swedish pancakes were amazing! A large portion of the menu is gluten free and staff is very knowledgeable. I will definitely be back.

An AMAZING brunch spot!! Many GF options, the staff is super knowledgable, you can watch the chef prepare it and they clean everything, put new gloves on and wipe down every counter top. The food is delicious, safe and organic. A Seattle must!!!

Yay for breakfast options! There is a fantastic breakfast bar (fruits, whipped cream, etc.) with possible contamination issues as it is buffet style, but I tried my best and didn't get any symptoms. The French toast, crepes (special), and porridge are delicious. It's a very loud environment, you might have a long wait (make reservations), but the staff is great and the food is absolutely worth it.

French toast! Oh... My... Goodness it's heaven! Bf (celiac) had a small reaction last time but was fine in previous visits. Very delicious.

heaven. if you tell them you are celiac, they will wipe the grill. French toast is out of this world

Homemade bread that is the best toast/French toast ever. Multiple menu options available. Worth the price tag to support incredibly good local food.

Gluten-free pancakes!! I have eaten several gf dishes/gf places lately and felt bad afterwards. That wasn’t the case here! I wish I had tried this place earlier.

Wait staff was knowledgeable and food was great! I had the chilahuevos with uli's chorizo. We sat on the patio near a heater and it was very nice. Menu has several gluten free options. I am celiac and did not get sick.

I’ve eaten breakfast here several times now and never had a problem. I always double-check that they’re toasting my bread in a GF toaster and I request a new/clean jar of jam, and they’ve always been happy to oblige. I haven’t tried pancakes or French toast, though - only classic eggs, bacon, potatoes, and toast.

Shared equipment means not gluten-free. Have gotten sick from buckwheat pancakes here.

Be prepared to wait. After an hour plus wait we finally got a table then it was another 10min before our server came to our table. I told my server I was Celiac so everything needs to be Gluten Free, I ordered the Hueto’s Rancheros after a long wait it was brought to the table and noticed the corn tortillas were deep fried, I asked the server if this was GF, she took my plate away and after much discussion with other staff she came back to ask me if they could remake it. They remade it with soft corn tortillas. They did offer a trip through the fruit bar while I waited, which I declined. It’s busy, it’s loud and the service was marginal, no refill of our waters and I had to ask for more coffee. I’m not sure it’s worth the wait or the risk.

I was a bit worried going here since there are many opportunities for cross contamination at a breakfast place. I generally stay away. I ate here often prior to my celiac diagnosis. I was pleasantly surprised at my ability to eat here safely. I had the farmer's hash with bacon. It was served with gluten free bread, but I did not eat the bread. The food was delicious and most importantly, I did not get sick. I will go back.

It was ok. The service wasn’t the best. They had a few options. I was super excited to try their gf bread, but the server didn’t care to offer it to me. I ended up getting gf pancakes- they were ok. VERY SWEET... kinda saggy. :( Their berry bar was delicious and their homemade whipped-cream was absolute Devine. Less sweet then the actual pancakes.

I have celiac disease and feel very comfortable eating there. Not once have I gotten sick. The staff is knowledgeable and food is cooked separately. My only warning would be the fruit and whipped cream bar that is open to all, which may give cross contamination; however upon request they will bring you knew fruit and whipped cream! Tasty food. Great options

I have been here several times now. The homemade gluten free bread is amazing. I prefer as toast than in French toast. My new favorite is the Swedish pancake which is gluten free as the standard. They also offer a GF banana pancake that I have not tried yet. I’ve only eaten breakfast food here so far, but sandwiches looked awfully tasty when my table mates got these on my last visit. I highly recommend checking it out.

I didn’t get sick from the farmers hash bowl, and it was delicious. I can’t speak to other cross contamination- prone items.

I love this place!! Always have the GF Swedish Pancakes. It’s the only way they make them—gluten free, with tapioca starch and rice flour. You can also add more fruit and whipped cream from the “toppings bar.”

I had the Swedish Pancakes with Lingonberry Sauce and Lingonberry Butter with fresh berries. The wait staff is very helpful. If you worry about getting berries from the complimentary fruit bar, they will bring you berries from the kitchen in small bowls. Very nice! While I enjoyed being able to eat Swedish Pancakes, I think they should have been more delicate. They were rather dense. Update to my review. Today, 5-1-2018, I had Swedish Pancakes again and they were amazingly delicate and delicious! It was a good day! I never have a problem eating here, but I always eat the same dish.

So good. I was real sad when I took that last bite of my Swedish pancakes. I was warned that they make bread for all of their locations here, so there is a risk of cross-contamination (flour floating in the air and such) but assured me they do all they can to prevent it in other ways. Gf folks can choose from Swedish pancakes, buckwheat pancakes, French toast and vegan banana pancakes. They have a toppings bar for your pancakes and toast which was an awesome touch.

Wish this place would take some precautions. Ate breakfast here Saturday morning and was sick the rest of the day. Not even a little bit celiac safe. Why bother offering gluten-free? :(

We stopped in for breakfast, once we got there the server did everything to not convince us to stay, including reminding us "you know this is a bakery". The sous chef came out and assured me she could make something safe. I would not recommend this place if your truly celiac.

Good options. Lots of gluten free if you're intolerant. For celiacs there are fewer options but they seem to know gay they're doing. I was very clear about how sensitive I am and how sick I would get. The waiter was great and went through their process with me. No reaction and the pancakes were wonderful. Speak up and you should be fine!

This place was great! Our waitress was very knowledgable about cross contamination and helped me find something safe to eat. I settled on an omelette that was awesome. I avoided the GF pancakes because I felt the risk for cross contamination was too high. My omelette came out wrong and even though the boy who brought it out was very rude, my waitress very quickly corrected the order.

While we love their omlets, braised greens and more main entrées that are gluten-free, preventing cross contamination and sharing detailed allergen ingredients is not their priority. Their gluten-free french toast is tasty, but it shares a non-dedicated grill and the gluten-free toast uses the same toaster as regular bread, this can be seen from the dining area as the kitchen is an open plan. I emailed the restaurant, identified our family as Celiac-positive, and asked about any shared equipment or hidden gluten in their ingredients because my kids' tummies hurt after eating there. I received a somewhat snotty response that only large restaurants are required to disclose that information. Their slogan is "eat like you give a damn" - well, we do, but apparently not all of their staff gives much of a care about customers who are asking for allergen concerns, not trying to steal proprietary information. Also, the wait times for a table are unbearable on the weekends, especially with kids in tow. I advise going to their website for a reservation a few days prior to your visit if you want to try it out.

Great spot, however I have had issues w cross contamination. They use the same toaster for regular and GF bread so if you're very sensitive I would steer clear. Yummy food overall.

Choose from options like rice and tapioca flour Swedish Pancakes and Vegan Banana Pancakes or pick Gluten-Free French Toast made with homemade bread. The options are mouthwatering and wor th the wait. All served with maple syrup.

NOT SAFE FOR CELIACS. When our waitress heard I was celiac she advised me not to eat any of the gluten free products because they use the same toasters and even French toast batters

Would give zero stars if I could. Despite "GF" entries on menu, massive cross contamination. I had a long conversation with our server about cross contamination, and all seemed well. He seemed to understand that I was celiac, assured me that eggs would be done in their own pan, etc. Yet, unbeknownst to me, they cut & toasted "GF" toast on the same cutting board and in the same toaster as the normal bread. Fortunately I asked more questions, and didn't eat the toast, but I still left with a really bad feeling.

Great place to eat! Worth the wait (hostess said 45 min wait, we waited 20). Big portion sizes. Most places with a GF option add an up charge and you get a smaller portion, here you have the up charge but get the same (or bigger) portion. Just looking at the menu makes it look expensive, but the portion sizes are worth the price; which makes it about mid range on price. Only reason I am not giving 5 stars is; the sitting area feels like a school cafeteria, with cement floors and the tables packed in tight. It made it really loud, which made me feel like I had to yell across the table.

MAJOR cross-contamination, but luckily they warned me about it before I ordered. Not as gluten free friendly as they advertise. French toast goes in the same exact batter as the non gluten free version and the toast is toast in the same toast. Seriously disappointed.

I was so grateful to order my first non-homemade gluten free pancakes since going gluten free. I got the vegan pancakes- recommended by the waitress as the best syrupy option. They were fluffy and awesome!!! The only problem I had is that my first batch came out undercooked but they made a second fully cooked batch for me and I loved them!

So many gf options. I tried the Buckwheat pancakes and I did not like the taste, but this was my first experience with buckwheat. The waitress helped me select a different dish. I got the crepes with lingonberries and they were amazing!!! Highly recommend for good service and excellent food.

Glutened here immediately. Knew it after a few bites. They don't do anything to prevent cross contamination (they warned me not to get the toast or GF pancakes, etc) so I got the hot buckwheat, but was so sick anyway. Should have trusted my instincts and not eaten here at all. 100% not safe for celiacs. Go to Chaco Canyon Organic Cafe instead, they are awesome: separate prep areas and safe delicious food.

Yummy home made bread. Watch out for communal jelly which can get crumbs. Best GF French Toast we've ever had! LONG lines on weekend mornings.
