I came in with a group of 5. Everyone ordered normally and I asked for gluten free chips. The server was pretty dismissive and an hour later I got sick.

Very ambiguous menu. It lists more than a dozen allergens but when I specifically asked about frying and cross contamination, my server had no idea at all. But after she spoke to the kitchen, I was told wings are fine and fries have a dedicated fryer. Also GF buns for the burgers were available. And an extensive list of ciders.
Such a great pub--if you request a GF menu there are so many options, including but not limited to pizza, lamb shank, fish and chips, and two desserts. Very nice atmosphere too--good place to watch the game or recover from a day of sightseeing.

Only the chicken wings (most types) are marked as gluten free.

I asked the staff if there coeliac options, & if there was a separate fryer. She was v nice and asked. And yes...there are separate fryers! I had the vegan burger with this, the bun was very good. It had poppy seeds on. And she recommended me a v nice IPA, Barcelona 9 weissbier.

Only had beer. They had gf beer on tap and gf Peroni Nastro Azzurro. There was a lovely band that played around 3 pm. Very off the cuff and natural sitting in the booth next to us- super fun time! Family run and lovely staff!

Only peroni as a gluten free beer is such a pity. There’s so much that is great about this establishment

They have many items listed as gluten free, but the server informed me that there will be cross contamination. The wings are not fried in a designated gf frier. pretty much the Greek salad was this celiacs only option
