I went here this weekend for dinner with my family. About 2 months ago I was diagnosed with celiac disease which has made it near impossible and stressful to find restaurants willing to accommodate these needs.
I called ahead and the staff was extremely knowledgeable on which items would be gluten free such as pasta, sauces, etc. When I asked in person our waiter explained which sauces would need to be subbed out, which drinks were gluten free and gave recommendations on what to order/ how to modify. When my food came out he guaranteed it was gluten free and I never got sick. Pasta options are clearly labeled GF on the menu and any other items you can simply ask about.
Aside from this the service is great, food even better so definitely impressed and very happy with Portobello's!
