Review of Portobello's

As a recently diagnosed person with Celiacs I have been extremely hesitant to eat out, not wanting to trust others with the responsibility of keeping me from getting sick. Local friends got me to try Portobello's a few weeks ago and the experience reassured me that I would not be stuck eating at home all the time.

The chef/owners who stopped by to chat with me, have Celiacs in the family and I believe on the staff itself, so knowledge about safe ingredients and cross contamination is well known to all staff members. My particular server was extremely knowledgeable about the gluten free menu options for all courses of our meal, and as it turns out most of the menu was available to me at least in some form.

I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone generally speaking, and certainly for someone with issues eating gluten. The food tasted amazing, was perfectly prepared using the freshest of ingredients
