Like a lot of Italian restaurants in Malta, you can get GF pasta for an extra charge. They did have GF bread, but I was told it was frozen and would take 15 minutes to heat up, and seeing as we’d already been given complimentary dips and bread it was a bit redundant to wait on it (there was no voluntary offer of GF bread/alternative for me, despite me already ordering GF pasta...) So unless you’d like GF bread with your main, it’s doubtful you’ll have any unless you order it as soon as you sit down!Based on the bread experience (which made me feel like I’d asked for the moon on a stick) I didn’t feel they were truly up for catering for GF needs except for having the pasta out back. The food however was delicious, even if the service was a bit unsupportive.
